SICURCRIO is a temperature controller for gas distribution lines in accordance with ISPESL Circular No. 9 of 19 July 2004. ISPESL Circular No. 9 requires systems supplied by cryogenic tanks to be equipped with a system downstream of the vaporiser capable of “shutting off the flow of cryogenic fluid if the fluid temperature is below the minimum design temperature of the tank to which the fluid is delivered”.
TGE SRL offers a complete solution that meets the requirements of the Circular while also implementing a range of additional functions designed to improve fluid delivery even in critical situations.

SICURCRIO consists of an electronic board housed in a watertight plastic enclosure for wall mounting, with the following features:
Front panel
– green LEDs indicating enable status of temperature sensors 1 and 2
– red LED indicating lockout status
– reset button
Process interface
– No. 2 inputs for PT100 temperature probe or thermostat (optional)
– No. 2 outputs for controlling external 220 Vac pilot solenoid valves, max. 20 VA
– No. 1 N.O. input for temporary lockout from external devices (active vaporiser fault)
– No. 1 N.O. electrical contact output for signalling Lockout status
Functions
– Internal potentiometer for set-point adjustment over the range -30…0°C
– Internal jumper for selecting Automatic Reset / Lockout at power-up

Description
The SICURCRIO unit supports the following functions:
Local control of technical and medical gas distribution lines supplied by cryogenic tanks.
Status monitoring by means of illuminated indicators (green/red LEDs) relating to temperatures 1 and 2.
LOCKOUT status indication by illuminated red LED.
Low-temperature set-points (1 and 2) adjustable using potentiometers on the electronic board.
Reset button for exiting permanent lockout status.
Permanent or temporary lockout configuration using a jumper on the electronic board.
Temporary lockout control from external devices (active vaporiser fault).
Voltage outputs for pilot solenoid valve control.
Electrical contact output for lockout status indication.
